The Hotel Sofitel Le Faubourg opened
its doors in may 17, 1999 after a $54 million, 20-month renovation.
The hotel fills two buildings one, built in the 18th century,
was formerly the Hotel Saint-Honore. The other, a 19-century structure,
served as headquarters for publishing company Marie Claire. The two
buildings have been combined to create an elegant, intimate hotel.
